I just ordered a birdbath and this little fountain. For $10.99, I was not expecting to be impressed. But I am- I put this in a bin of water to test it out. and carried it to the back door- once I got into direct sun, I got a face full of water. DUH! LOL It works great. When things get a bit cloudy or you get to shade, it definitely slows and stops, so make sure you optimize your location. But, we just want to keep the birdbath water moving, and this will be great. Very little section power or longevity in fact it only lasted a week for me and then apparently the battery died. WORKS OK. DOESNT RUN TOO LONG..

I did everything as per instructions, this doesn't hold any charge, it doesn't work. I've been busy with the holidays and haven't had time to return it. Plus switching containers cleaning it, doing everything as you suggested. It's an inferior product.

Nice little water fountain pump. It has a lot of power when the sun hits it that it pumps all the water out of the bird bath. So I use it in the fish pond.

I found that it has to be in sun continuously to work, otherwise will just pulsate the water through instead of a steady stream. So sunny days it works great, otherwise not as much. I did watch a video (on YouTube) as to how to clean the filter, which I would suggest, otherwise I’d never have figured it out!

Not a huge spurting fountain, but it works fine for a small fountain. I've had in pond for several weeks and it's needed no maintenance so far.

It is working amazingly well for an inexpensive thing. The spray goes quite high and it has different nozzles for making different patterns. We started with it in a big swimming pool but now keep it in a fountain to keep the water aerated. I didn't mark the longevity as we have not had it that long but it is working well.

Super easy to install, worked perfectly fine for my bird bath I got at lowes. Let’s see how long this fountain lasts. The fountain may not operate consistently throughout the day, depending on fluctuations in sunlight and cloud cover.

I am so glad I saw and bought this. It makes my bird bath alive and birds drink and takes bath in it. Worth of money to buy! The fountain pump may not be powerful enough to create a significant amount of water movement.

This is easy to set up and is pretty and creates a soothing noise. However you MUST have complete 100% sunshine or it will not work. Seriously if a bird flies over and creates a slight bit of shade it will stop working. The video shows about 10% of it in the shade and it spurts instead of running continuously.

Put this in my mom's new birdbath and voila. with some sun and water, it looked like the opening of Snow White. Woodland creatures came flying, running, crawling over.Have no idea how long it'll last but so far so good.

This Fountain is so easy to use. Just make sure it has enough water. Solar powered so no batteries or power issues. The birds love hanging out in the bath. It worked as the snow was melting and on warm, sunny days. I purchased another but haven't made the bird bath yet.

I will not be trying out this bird bath until we once again experience warm weather. I'm sure this unit will operate as it should.

I have had several floating solar fountains. This is the first one with sticks that prevent the fountain from floating to the edge of the pond and inadvertently pumping water over the edge. A nice addition.

The pump has a nice design, works with no grid electricity, just on the power of the sun. It is smaller than expected, but fits well into most bird baths.

As my first purchase of a water pump feature for a bird bath it's ok. It does not work at all if there is no direct strong sunlight. But for $6.99 you can't beat it. I've researched other water pumps and plan to replace this one and pass this one down to other bird bath enthusiasts.
