Warm but scratchy good for me
I seriously doubt this is Merino wool. I have a lot of different Merino wool from several different companies. None of them itch like this shirt does. Unfortunately, I tried it on over my silk layer and then washed it. Otherwise, I would return it. Definitely not a good base layer.
