UPDATE:Customer service was excellent. They responded immediately to my inquiry through Revain messaging and replaced the battery pack quickly and for free. My family member who received the gift loves the jacket and says the direct heat gives him some relief from the numbness while he's wearing it. If only we had a solution for when he takes the jacket off :(ORIGINAL: I bought this as gift for a family member who has neuropathy and numbness on one whole side of his body. The cold wreaks havoc with him and direct heat in this jacket has improved the quality of life. The first one I bought worked fine but was the wrong color. The second one is the right color but the battery pack is defective. Takes 12 hours to charge and discharges in under 3 hours. That's unacceptable for such an expensive item. I need a new battery pack or I will return the jacket and buy a different brand. Have been reaching out to the seller, so we'll see .
