I have several cheaper silicone cup sets that I use regularly in my massage practice and I decided to buy them because they had good reviews and I liked them liked the colors. BIG MISTAKE! I spent about $50 for 2 sets and over half the cups have a sharp ridge where a smooth lip should be and it hurts/scratches when you try to move them over oiled skin. Sounds like a production issue as not everyone has it. However, the two largest cups (which I use the most) have this defect. Also, the plastic is thinner than my other cups and doesn't suck as well, the dome of the bottle just collapses if you try to suck harder. They work fine when I use them as static cups and don't move them, but the suction is still weak. The only thing I like about them is the beautiful blue-green colors. Maybe they are produced differently now as the old reviews seem cheap but these mugs are very disappointing :(
