There are pros and cons, think before buying.
I live in an area with very hard water. Instead of the universal one (scale appeared after the first boil), we took this cartridge Brita maxtra hardness - much better, but it lasted for 10 days maximum, then the whole kettle was covered with scale. I also tried the A6 aquaphor jug - the cartridge is cheaper and reduces hardness worse - the same 10 days, only scale appears in the kettle earlier and there is more of it than after shaving. In general, I stayed with a shave.
- Perfectly removed the stiffness, but lasts for 10 days maximum (with filtration of 10 liters per day, for two people)
- After 10 days, a strong scale appears in the kettle and a film on the surface of the water. Photo in the teapot after 10 days of using the filter (before that, the teapot was washed clean with citric acid). Scale and film are visible.
