Inferior in sharpness to its fellow 28-135, which is 3 times cheaper than it! Structurally, a little better, heavier, BUT . the picture of 28-135 is really better. Having 28-135, I went to choose 24-105, took it, took it off with both in equal conditions, gave it back 24-105. To be honest, it's not worth the money they ask for it. You will simply be disappointed in it for this amount. Once again I was convinced that the notorious "L" is a divorce (with the exception of some models, which everyone already knows about). There is no detail, it simply lathers all the details, there is no texture / structure of things in the picture, The feeling that I shot it with a soap dish for 3000, and not 5Dmk3. As a result, I did not see an alternative to 28-135 once again. Although I also have complaints about it, mainly in terms of design, but the price levels it all out.
