Honestly I found it weird at first how the connector and the flange were one piece. I got over it wiickly because that made it only one part to wash versus two parts. I’ve read some reviews stating that they’ve had a difficult time cleaning it and experienced "mold”. I have not found that problem at all. For those hard to reach area you can use that small bristle brush you get with the Dr. Brown bottles or anything like it (most bottle cleaners come with one now). It dries completely, so I don’t see how anyone else is getting mold on there. I find it to be very comfortable when using it. Comes with its own membranes but the Medela ones work with it too. I’m using it with my Medela pump in style and have no issues with. I would recommend this product. Just again, be sure two clean it out properly using a thin small bristle brush and you’ll be fine.
