In total it took me almost 5 hours. ** If you don't know how to strip and solder electrical wire then this is not for you. **The brake light was not an issue as those two wires connected to the third brake light wire. What gave me the most trouble was lighting the plate. Having a license plate light is a must here in Texas, so I had to run a wire through the interior of the jeep and solder it to the original license plate wire, which is on the opposite side from where the tailgate opens. I had to remove plastic, carpet etc. Like I said, too much work. Instructions are part of you-know-what. See photo. The end result is beautiful. Works great with my antenna mount. Holes match, no additional drilling required.
