Very frustrating having to get both straps especially when the other strap isn't for my car. Easy installation? HA! You'll need to remove about 10 screws, remove a couple of covers, unplug a couple of connectors, loosen the spring (the fixed part goes in the hole), gently lift another cover to remove the wheel, and then unhook the large strap to use it it can be removed. Able to put the belt is space. then reassemble. yes it was easy My vacuum cleaner is old and the plastic is getting brittle. Replacing the strap drew my attention to a broken tongue and a cracked boot. I attached them like this: (Be careful not to get any glue/wire in where it would interfere with replacing the part.) 1) Superglue on the broken parts. 2) Glue a short piece of 14AWG wire through the crack. 3) Cover the wire with JB welding. --- Electricity comes out of the wire. The CA will hold the wire and cracks in place until you get a JB weld to hold the wire to the part.
