Review on Wi-Fi router TP-LINK TL-MR6400, black by Danish Affndy ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very high quality product, it's not the first time I bought it.

From the corridor in the apartment I gave out 2 "sticks" of reception out of 3 possible on the indication (there is a version of the case, where the indication is of 4 characters). WI-fi in the apartment is stable - full power, even behind closed doors. I will try in the country - I will add. I have come across several versions of this router model for sale. According to the characteristics, they are the same, they differ in different cases, removable antennas and the size of the SIM card - full size or micro. There is a version of the router with round thin antennas - they are non-removable, if anyone cares - be careful and ask before buying. I have a micro-sim router with wide spade-shaped antennas - they are always removable. These antennas are installed on both housing options: with a small TP-Link inscription and a logo, with a micro-SIM and a moderate number of luminous symbols, and a housing with a large TP-Link inscription without a logo, with a large number of luminous symbols and for a full-sized SIM card. Non-removable antennas of circular cross section are also placed on the same housings. It's very nice that for distributing Wi-Fi from the mobile Internet (from a SIM card), settings are not required - from the word in general ! Just insert the SIM card into the router, connect it to the outlet, press "on" - and voila! Distribution started immediately. Find the network with your device that you want to connect, and fill in the factory password, which is written on the sticker on the bottom of the router! It's just brilliant! The password is long and can be left and not changed. If you need to configure the router to work with your home wired network or change the password, you will have to go to the router settings via Wi-Fi or connect the computer to it with a cord. Instruction in 2022. I add: at the dacha it gives a stable reception of an external signal 2 of the 3 segments of the scale. And stable wi-fi throughout the house, although it is on the ground floor in the room. The tablet with the sim received an external signal for 1 or 2 sticks out of 6, which is worse than 3 times and is unstable. Now excellent 3G / 4G and on his own antennas! Pulls up to 34 gadgets. I didn’t connect so much, but 3 phones, 2 tablets and a laptop fly!

Pros
  • Included in the top five stationary routers for mobile Internet, judging by inf. from specialized sites. Can work with both sim and home internet via cable. It has removable antennas, which allows you to connect external outdoor antennas. Distributes 2G, 3G, 4G and LTE.
Cons
  • I have not found it yet, because experienced only in the city, where the signal is mob. internet is excellent. Review will be ated after testing in the country. Addition after tests in the country: only pluses!

Has some pros Quick and easy setup. The ability to use a sim card! (in general, it was a key criterion when choosing this model) With its cons. Small coverage radius, does not catch through a brick wall in a house
