I've always avoided rebuilding my Macs for fear of making the mistake of hearing about voiding my warranty. But my five year old computer only had 8MB of RAM and I figured either that or I'd buy a new computer. The transition from 8MB to 32MB changed the world. My old car runs like a champion. Installation was easy following Apple's instructions. I haven't had any problems, complications or anything other than great results.
