Review on Smart bracelet HONOR Band 5 RU, blue by Ada Lech (Ada Lech) ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend it.

Previously, I had been using Mi Band 3 for close to a year. Since Mi Band had issues with this, I decided to use Honor Band 5 for the sole purpose of measuring sleep. Everything is great except the notification system; I can't see any icons and have to reveal every piece of junk that enters my phone because Telegram isn't an option. The Huawei Health app has a lot quicker synchronization than Mi Fit for Xiaomi and it can also connect to Apple Health. In conclusion, upgrading from Mi Band 3 was totally warranted, but you may still consider going with Mi Band 4. The Mi Band is a good choice if you care mostly about receiving notifications and quickly switching songs. Honor Band if you need superior performance and sensors that are more precise.

Pros
  • Quick alarm setting, just after launching the app; thin enough to not stick to the pillow in a dream; oximeter; soft strap; flicker-free color screen; nice oleophobic coating; Accurate monitoring of sleep time
Cons
  • - Notifications are cumbersome, there is no Telegram support - The oximeter requires a very snug strap to function - There are few dials - The timer is buried in "More" (On Mi Band 4 similarly) - The battery is smaller than in analogues, I had to reconfigure the constant pulse measurement to "smart", otherwise it was enough for a couple of days
