Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Optimize Your Shoe Storage with the Amazon Basics 50-Pair Shoe Rack Organizer by Matthew Peterson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Doesn't hold 50 pairs of shoes. Terrible design

If you don't have 50 pairs of children's sandals, slippers and ballet flats, you won't get close to 50. I need to remove at least 1/3 of these crossbars because if your shoes have heels or high tops of any kind, even 1 inch, they won't fit in this rack. The bars are also so steep that any really flat-soled shoes will slip off fairly easily if you bump into them. For the price, it's about what you'd expect for quality. But the design is terrible. If I could turn this to face the wall so my shoes wouldn't slide off it would be easier, but then the huge X on the back makes half the rows inaccessible from the back. You can't remove x because then everything will shake even if you breathe too hard. I estimate this will fit about 30 of my boots which is fine for the price. The quality is ok for the price, but please buy a new designer. I have shoes in size 7.5 or 8.0. Each row can only hold about 4 pairs unless I want to squeeze them so tight that when I pull out a pair they all fall off. There's no reason the rows are so steep, it doesn't even make sense for shoe storage. If you just put the cross on the other side, people could at least lean it against the wall to keep their shoes from slipping off. Basically I store my heels and other shoes with better upper traction than my other running shoes etc. on the bottom so they are less likely to slip off. Assembly was 99% easy until you had to connect two posts together at the top and bottom. That's why the instructions are terrible. Because once you have the bars, they warp their frames and don't want to fit together. I had to take them apart, push, push, push and punch about 9 times to bring them together. I see many other complaints in the reviews that the top and bottom don't match. Yes, if you don't plug in the poles first. Attach the top and bottom first, leave them on the ground, then screw the posts and lift the whole thing up, which saves you so much time and effort and you don't get stuck and think you have a broken one have device.
