The package was sent in a very clear cardboard box with markings. Arrived in excellent condition. There is an air filter on the bottom of the device. Make sure it locks/unlocks properly as it doesn't always lock securely (unlocks easily). The air filter is wrapped in plastic, so be sure to remove the plastic before use. I placed this cleaner where the other cleaner used to be. It's much thinner and smoother, and the white goes well with my home. It also looks way more expensive. The buttons on the top of the air purifier are intuitive. Lots of lighting options, sleep mode, 2-4-8 hour timer and speed. Speed 3 (the highest) is loud, but speeds 1 and 2 are just white noise and don't bother me much. Sleep mode also works well in terms of noise control. The light function also comes into its own in our bedroom and serves as a night light. So far I am delighted with this cleaner. Many settings, does not take up much space and is very convenient to use. The air that comes out at the top smells really clean and I'm excited to see how this unit fares on the road.
