I bought this because it advertised 7 USB 3.0 ports. BUYER BEWARE! The body of the hub is made out of cheap plastic and heats up fairly quickly. If you drop this there is a good chance you will break the case.1. It doesn't recognize USB wireless mouse receivers (you know, the little plug that comes with the wireless mouse). 2. It doesn't recognize webcams - both branded and regular3. It does not recognize wired USB game controllers, branded or generic. It doesn't even charge them.4. Flash drives are not recognized. Serious? My other AUKEY 4-port hub recognizes ALL of the items listed above with no problems. What does he recognize? 1. My USB2 powered AOC monitor. Table lamp powered by USB3. It charges my smartphone (very slowly) but doesn't recognize it as a storage device (Samsung S20). gives me access to my files. I recommend a hard pass for this product. You can find better for this price or less.
