This dress is perfect. I felt very pretty in it after weeks of really not loving my new pregnant bod. For shapewear I wore high waisted pantyhose which smoothed out my entire figure and ended up acting as a belly band that I didnt even realize I would appreciate so much (try it). I am just about 8 months pregnant in these pictures. It is long, I opted not to trim and hem it as the gathered length at the feet made the dress seem more magical. I wore it for my shower where I didn't need to do much walking and on a shore vacation. It is very stretchy and if you pulled up the dress to the length you want, the material stays where you want it. You can wear the shoulders as I did, pulled down, or you can have them up to cover bra straps, both ways looked pretty. Also, the ruffles covering the chest do a great job of covering up one's chest so if you're not into having to wear a constricting bra, you definitely don't need to.
