I bought two and after updating the firmware I was able to create an access point and a bridge. Now I send my internet connection 5 blocks through the trees (although most of the leaves are gone) and it works great. The access point is on one source connected to one of my router's switch ports and the other is configured as a bridge connected to my other router's WAN port. The default security was zero, so anyone who buys it should set that up. If you make your own cables and plug them into a POE power supply and the lights go out, your cable is bad. Plan to replace both ends again because you're guessing which end to replace haha. I recommend installing them in one place and making sure they work before dragging the bridge antenna to its intended location. I love it and my grandchildren will love it.
