Review on 🌀 Minka-Aire F844-SL Light Wave 52" Silver Ceiling Fan: Sleek Style and Cooling Performance by Kanika Costa

We bought this light/fan about 2 years ago. It's nice and quiet and worked great until recently. However, lately the light has started to flicker to the point where it's almost blinking. Revane put me in touch with a Better Living salesperson. Even though the device was out of warranty, BLS sent me a new receiver free of charge which they thought would solve the problem. However, this did not solve the problem. I asked them to just send me a new light block. They said they couldn't because the new units weren't compatible with the old fans. Instead they refunded the entire cost of the fan/light. I'm using a refund to buy a new version of the same device that I was told has a new improved LED module. When I received the new block I checked the light block. It is identical to the old one and has the same model number. When I plugged it in it worked great - no flickering. So my rating takes into account the following factors: 1) The light/fan has a great design and has worked flawlessly for 2 years, 2) The light failed after 2 years, 3) The supplier did everything possible to solve the problem for the cost of the full money refund, 4) The seller gave me wrong information about the light. Since I really like the design of the fan and the seller's heart is in the right place, I'm giving it 4 stars. But if your light doesn't work, simply get a replacement lighting unit - 17W LED, model no. LKL1102-17 made in China.
