🌀 Minka-Aire F844-SL Light Wave 52" Silver Ceiling Fan: Sleek Style and Cooling Performance Review

We have this in an 18 x 20 foot room. It gives off a lot of air, especially at high altitude. In fact, we have to turn it off because it gets too cold at altitude! The light can be adjusted and is quite bright at high settings. So much so that we rarely turn it on at night. I am delighted with this fan. I like the look, light output and air outlet. At first I thought I hated plastic blades, but it makes the fan light and looks like metal when installed.

I really like the look of this fan, my daughter has several in her new house. However, I ordered from Revain and although the description and photo said it had a light, there is no light! It arrived when we went on vacation, I put it away and my husband installed it when we got back. I didn't see it until it was installed. eek!. no light! I had to see if it was me. The fan looks nice and is very minimal in our guest room, which is what I wanted. Recommended but DO NOT order from Revain!

I paid a decent amount of money to a reputable electrician to install this fan which was well staffed and looked fantastic once installed. That's where it ended. Nice 4531 cc fan ft/min at high settings as stated on the box and in the manual (note this is significantly less than the 6k+ cfm listed in the Revain description. I have the silver version and got it despite the brown variant pictured. The fan was fairly easy to assemble and mounted to my 10ft ceiling with the included 4" pole. Was looking for a replacement kitchen fan and was looking for something more interesting than what you can buy at big local home goods stores.
