I use the Kitchenaid blender almost every day. Hand washing the white coated paddle was an ordeal. When the white enamel started chipping my food I bought another (more expensive than the stainless steel) and the same thing happened again, despite always following the care instructions to the letter. After my third broken white paddle I was thrilled to have found one that was a lot cheaper than the KA version and even cheaper than the white one. This one is HEAVY. It is very strong and durable. There's a shorter gap where it attaches to the stand of the mixer so it pops out easily if you smack it, but it's worth it. It handles all the tests I run with ease and best of all I can just throw it in the dishwasher! Love it so much I went back to Amazon to buy the dough hook version.
