Review on Enhanced Kensington Cable Lock for HP Laptops, Lenovo, Asus, Acer & Other Devices - Compact & Reinforced Pivoting Lock Head (K65035AM) by Robert Pearson

I purchased this lock specifically to secure an early 2011 MacBook Pro which has a Kensington slot in the specs. The locking mechanism feels solid and the cable is quite stiff, suggesting it's more difficult to cut than most similar locks. Corners, hence only four stars. This is a square pin in a round hole situation. This lock fits every other Kensington slot I've tried, so it's probably Apple's fault. I will keep the lock for use with another device. I like the protruding tab on the key as it makes it easy to adjust the key to the lock. However, I would be concerned that the tongue could bend if the key is hanging on the ring with other keys in the pocket and then does not fit in the lock. I've attached a picture of a MacBook slot, one of those locks. and another Kensington style lock I found for a MacBook and one of the keys to that lock.
