Jacket is about twice the thickness of a regular Mylar blanket but tears easily if snagged on something; Keep tree branches in mind when walking through the forest. The sleeves are short like a polo shirt and only reach the knees. It's too wide at the waist, allowing heat to escape. I bought 4 packs for $25 which I think is overpriced. I would pay $15 for it after actually touching the product. They will look great under a military poncho. On the plus side, the hood is a nice feature and the seams don't rip. It was easier to pack than a mylar blanket. To improve, double the thickness again, add a waist belt, and add a foot to the arms and overall length.
