Review on πŸ”Š AIYIMA DC12V-24V 2.1 Channel TPA3116 Subwoofer Amplifier Board High Power Bluetooth Audio Amplifier Board 50W+50W+100W (Bluetooth Amp) by Jose Wititsuwannakul

Good sound. Easy setting.

The first (somewhat) annoying minus. It has a smooth start that also works between songs as well as during the quiet passages of songs, basically clipping the bass channel for half a second. Basically, this isn't a big deal to me, but for movies with intense sound effects, it'll probably kill the mood pretty quickly. Now the second problem. I haven't found a suitable box for this yet. I've searched a lot and found nothing. I'll probably buy a cheap sheet metal brake someday and build my own. The sound quality is on par with any other similar amp I've used. Currently paired with two Dayton Audio Exciters per channel and a 12" GRS subwoofer; all purchased via expedited shipping. I also got a 150Hz low pass filter (Nippon hc-101) for the subwoofer. Total cost of the project was about $100 ...I can't say exactly how it sounds at high volume as it's on my desktop and I like my work.I'll drive over there this weekend and test it.Maybe.Bluetooth works fine.I turned it on.From one old monitor power supply to something like 24v4.5a and it works great.I had one with a cheap 12v2a and it had a lot of electronic hum reaching the speakers. With a good power supply there is no hum or hiss I hear.I will probably buy another one someday to make a really loud portable speaker.
