Amateur Report

I had no idea GE made cameras until I discovered these at Revain a few weeks ago and to be honest the price was what attracted me the most. I'm not a professional photographer, but I love taking pictures and I want them to be of good quality. So I knew I wanted my next camera to be a bridge camera. Being able to take great pictures at no extra cost is a healthy combination! I've been looking at Nikon, Sony, Canon, Fujifilm, etc. for about a week. None of these big-name camera distributors make a bridge camera with such a big deal. So I'm glad I found it! Here's what interests me: the delivery was pretty fast (I ordered on Sunday, it came today, Friday). Unpacking and setting up was pretty easy. I had no trouble inserting the batteries and memory card. I chose white. I was concerned that it might be a little tasteless, but it actually looks very sleek, clean, and professional. Seems to be very well put together. - As others have pointed out, it has a lot of weight so it feels like you're holding on to something. - I like the layout of the buttons and the general anatomy. Easy to capture and take real pictures. The zoom is around the record button which I LOVE! The LCD display has a sharp and clear quality. Also a decent size I think. Very impressed with the shutter speed and image stabilization. I have bad nerves so I'm a bit shaky and I need a camera that will help me get a straight and clear shot. So yes, on top of that - Lots of features and benefits such as panorama, scene selection, smile detection, etc. - Easy navigation through settings and settings such as language, time, storage format, etc. I've only used the camera for a day, but like I said, I'm very impressed . For the price you can't beat the performance. If in doubt about the purchase, BUY AND TRY.
