My wife and I love these escape room board games. When we came across this one, we couldn't wait to give it a try. The 3D aspect of it is fun and peeling back the layers is rewarding.Overall the puzzles are clever and I like the concept of the 'Solution Stick'. We were able to solve most of the puzzles with little or no hints. The artwork is wonderful giving the game board a nice overall look.On the downside though, some of the puzzles don't make sense and even with the hints we weren't quite sure how the designers arrived at the solution. Also, some of the hint cards have mistakes that lead us down a rabbit hole of frustration. Lastly, some of the puzzles just seem to be put there for the fun of it without helping to advance the narrative. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it left us wondering "Why did we have to solve that?"All in all, we liked this game and are willing to give the other ones of this franchise a chance. We just hope they can improve upon clues and hints.
