Glides comfortably, absorbs and cools the skin slightly if you want to use it for a short-term massage of inflamed areas. I am using this product RECENTLY to send my patients to pick them up on the way home with some TLC and convenience. Personally, after a long day and a good hot shower, I use it on my feet and legs and go to bed and it's quite comfortable and cozy. It is NOT as strong as a Biofreeze and doesn't last as long, but has great value with quality ingredients. I think the scent reminds me of my grandmother's features, but who cares, it's more calming than overwhelming.
