I noticed that the diameter of the cable is thinner than the original cable that came with the watch. It didn't charge after being properly plugged in for eight hours, leaving a low battery warning. The original cable immediately charged from the same power source. I will try another cable as there were two in the order. I will use the old cable. Update: The other cable worked on the second try and here's how: I connected it to my laptop to add it to my Garmin Connect account. After the sync was complete I noticed that it was charging but with a different display on my phone. The system software for the phone has also been updated. was there a difference
