The light is better for your eyes than normal headlights.
I really like these headlights. The only downside is that unlike the old "focused" beams, these headlights don't project a focused beam in front of you like regular headlights do. The low beam is great, but the high beam doesn't project because it's not focused. Another downside is that they give you a white spot in thick fog, especially on high beam, as they don't project a focused beam of light to cut through the fog.
