All my family members have Keen shoes and we love them. My eldest son is very picky about his shoes so about a year ago I realized I needed to invest in more expensive and better quality shoes. I bought him a pair of Keens a few months ago. Our new puppy chewed his shoelaces and blew a hole in his heel. I had to replace them and opted for a pair with velcro closures. I was hoping that if our pup somehow manages to get his teeth in, the Velcro might extend the life of the shoe. But they appeared without Velcro. We'll be keeping them, but wanted to let potential buyers know that the Velcro may not come with the shoe (if that's why you're buying it).
