    Very harsh criticism

    These shoes are very tough. My daughter hated that she couldn't bend the boot. She loves hiking so climbing the steep slope was a big problem. We returned them before we went outside.

    Too narrow a review from me

    If you are looking for Keen for the extra room in the toe box then this is NOT for you! I was blown away by how slim this style is, they seem to be making more shoes in this style now. Check out the Hikeport 2 for kids. They fit my child perfectly!

    Well done Keen. to my rating.

    Got a pair for my kids. The leather is of excellent quality and looks like it was made to last. The fit is a little roomier than normal to allow your toes to breathe. I noticed that one of the comments complained about the lack of a strap. A small child has seat belts, big children don't. I will update the post in a few months.

    Very tight and tight

    Nice shoes but had to send them back as they are very hard and tight. My son found it difficult to slide his foot and felt his arch pinch him. Aside from the fact that they look beautiful!

    Great shoes for an active kid.

    My 10 year old son loves his shoes. We usually buy him new shoes every 2-3 months because his toe gets punctured, but not for KEEN! KEEN has the BEST toe protection and it will last at least 6 months for my son's feet to grow. These were his fourth or fifth KEEN shoes and we love all of the KEEN shoes we've bought for him. It also saves us money!

    The shoes were really good and looked well made, but for some reason they didn't fit. My son wears size 4 sneakers. He even tried other size 4 Keens in the store and they fit perfectly. We ordered them for a hike and they were huge. They fit my adult height of 7ft. So I had to send them back.

    Great for certain purposes

    I bought these shoes for myself. I didn't like them at first when they arrived, but quickly changed my mind after wearing them for a while. Remember I am a small adult and wear children's shoes. They are great for walking your dog on wet grass and on cold autumn days. Very waterproof and quite warm. My dog enjoyed chewing on them whenever he had the opportunity and they held up well to abuse. So they're pretty tough. Easy to put on. I would send my child to school in it. Cons: Poor arch…

    Great walking shoes suitable for me

    Great running shoes for my 11 year old son. We have hiked in many national parks this spring and my son's feet have always been dry and supported. He never complained that his legs hurt at the end of a long day. Shoes still look like new!

    Tight, no support, that's good for me.

    The shoes were very narrow and had no arch support. Being an adult with small feet I bought these Keen shoes, I've bought other walking shoes for big kids and haven't encountered any problems. These were different. No problem with returns.

    Badly done now.

    I've been buying keane for many years, always the same size and they have been perfect. I am an adult with a small foot - child size 4. Unfortunately they are now switching production. Shoes no longer fit, feel cheap and are not as durable as their old product. I tried two different models but I had to return both. The first ones were very tight, but these are at least 2 sizes bigger than usual and also too tight.

    All my family members have Keen shoes and we love them. My eldest son is very picky about his shoes so about a year ago I realized I needed to invest in more expensive and better quality shoes. I bought him a pair of Keens a few months ago. Our new puppy chewed his shoelaces and blew a hole in his heel. I had to replace them and opted for a pair with velcro closures. I was hoping that if our pup somehow manages to get his teeth in, the Velcro might extend the life of the shoe. But they appeared

    Perfect fit for my son.

    My son has autism and only wears certain models of Keens shoes. Well, that style was discontinued, so I had to come up with something else. After looking at shoes with him on the internet, we decided on this pair. When they arrived he tried them on and to my relief he liked them and now wears them with no problem. His only problem is that the place where the tongue attaches to the top of the shoe can move and make him uncomfortable, so he has to make sure the tongue is in the right place when…
