Not certified. suitable for disposable plates, bowls and cutlery

The crockery looks good and the price is good but I'm a little embarrassed that there is no indication anywhere on the packaging (box or the crockery itself) that they are biodegradable / compostable Status. They are not BPI certified and have no environmental certification. To me, this questions their compostability even in a commercial facility. People who use them at a picnic or event are also not instructed to discard them with other compostable materials. The item's listing also doesn't mention any certifications, which leads me to believe that "compostable" and "biodegradable" are buzzwords used to sell more plastic. Of course, it would be amazing if it turned out to be fully compostable, but for now I have my doubts. Some utensils also have a few spots of blue discoloration. for your information.

Pros
  • Great alternative. Better for health and the planet.
Cons
