Initially we liked this water heater that actually produced HOT water. This week it stopped producing hot water... It was installed in October 2016. He went south on 05/29/18. i want to return it How can I? What do we do now? Are you buying a new one to be installed by a plumber and incurring additional plumbing costs? The home guarantee company said they don't cover it. That should tell us something I think, stop? Do we have coverage or is it one of those one year warranty issues? Now the fun part is digging out the paperwork in this new apartment we bought and installed in 2016. UPDATE SUMMER 2018 The company kindly sent us a new one for free even though we had to pay an exorbitant price for a fresh install. Now we have very hot water but it is very VERY difficult to regulate the temperature of the WATER. They told me to install a flow restrictor or reduce the cold water supply. The water supply adjustment did not work. Neither one nor the other was required in the early days when it first worked. So we just have to play with him in the shower 🚿 At least we have hot water.
