Does what it's supposed to. What I love about it is that the stainless steel and aluminum also removes build-up on food. b4 I use small stainless steel scrapers. Food residue is much easier to remove from large stainless steel scrapers. This makes cleaning and maintaining small brushes easier. And I feel better knowing smaller stainless steel brushes won't build up food residue between uses. Don't let this drip off until the food is disposed of. They don't bind very well. It's very easy to slip into the sink. So be careful.
