I don't have a Rode wireless mic so I can't confirm if this cable will work properly with this system. However, I have a Comica BoomX D2 where the left and right channels can be recorded separately (stereo) or together in mono. The smartphone cable that comes with the Comica system is "properly connected" and routes both the left and right channels to the trrs connector. only hears/records half of the signal. This. It's a mono cable. To test if it works, I plugged this cable into my laptop's audio jack and played an audio diagnostic sound clip, which outputs a test signal to the left speaker and then the right speaker. When I connect this setup to my iPhone and record a test signal, it only records the left side channel. So if you are using this cable ONLY to record a source e.g. B. a microphone, it works as advertised. If a stereo signal is to be output to the trrs mic input, this will NOT work. Only one side goes from Trs to Trrs connector.
