I bought this after a larger brand bragged about their customer service and then failed. This item came without instructions. My first try swapped cold and hot. I'm not sure why because I think I got the red and blue thing right. But instead of taking the faucet off and changing it there, I swapped the lines on the shut-off valves. When it comes to everyday use, too much water may spurt out when the stem is fully open.
