Directly compared to the Miele bag I replaced they are of significantly lower quality. It doesn't say HEPA anywhere on the packaging, so I doubt it meets HEPA filtration standards. The closure of the Miele bag is made of rubber, creating a secure seal where the hose enters the bag; these bags do not have such a closure and the material is thinner overall. They work and probably hold more dust than regular vacuum bags, but they are NOT as good as Miele bags. It's a shame that Miele overprices their bags - we wouldn't have this dilemma. Upgrade: up to 1 star. My vacuum motor was starting to wear out so I took it to a vacuum service center. We swapped the back for a real Miele bag and the motor stopped straining straight away. It wasn't like the EnviroCare bag was full - it was less than 1/2 full. The service representative said that the material of the bag does not allow air to pass through, causing the motor to overload. Buy real bags, otherwise you risk replacing the vacuum cleaner motor or buying a new vacuum cleaner!
