I have 2 vacuum interrupters. They work great. I noticed that the water flow in your hand held shower is limited. I recommend unscrewing the bracket on the water inlet side. (I tape the pliers' sponges 10 times to prevent scratches. It's a lot cheaper than buying non-scratch pliers.) You'll likely find that the screen is filled with particles. Rinse briefly under running water and you're done. I've had to do this twice in the 5 years I've had it. I'd rather the particles end up in a place that I can easily clean up. As if it got stuck in the shower head itself.
