I really don't like this sealant very much. The elements get too hot and the bags stick to them. The degree of vacuum pressure is not as variable as it seems. In no case should you do a bunch of back to back. It says it's commercial, but it's impossible to handle more than a few in a row without overheating and melting the bags rather than just sealing them. When using a food slicer you have to re-thread the roll of the bag after almost every cut as the roll lags behind. The only reason it got 2 stars instead of 1 is because it holds large handbag rolls. Our last sealer only processed small rolls, which was inconvenient. Our last was a FoodSaver we got from Walmart about 2 1/2 years ago that ended up not being able to print. We could just replace it, but we do quite a bit and we thought it would be best to just update it. We chose this because it advertises metal internals and we were hoping for a long-term winner. I'm incredibly disappointed. I'm going back to the plastic, which cost half as much and worked a lot better.
