Bought a table a few weeks ago. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Cardboard without damage. Inside was a different story. Damage to one of the legs and the side of the table was clearly visible. It looked like something stuck to the paint before painting and then chipped off. So in one place it was clumpy and dark, and in another place it wasn't clumpy and unpainted. Then we move on to the box. When assembling it in the mfg, it was glued and screwed crookedly, so the front is slanted and the box does not close. At this point we contacted the seller. I have to give them 5 stars for their responsiveness and effort to help with this. Responded quickly to my emails which included photos of all the damaged parts. They immediately requested replacement parts from Ashley (manufacturer). We got a replacement leg, a new drawer and some hardware. The leg was good but the box came without splints and they also sent a package with hardware unrelated to the new parts. We contacted the seller again who then contacted Ashley. Ashley's response was that the buyer had to remove the rails from the faulty box and attach them to the replacement box. The first problem is that there are no pre-drilled holes on the box to show where to mount the hardware. OK. So good my husband is handy and can figure everything out. The only problem is that the old rails are not only attached to the broken crate with screws, they are also glued to these thin strips of wood, which in turn are glued to the side wall of the crate! It's impossible to take the rails out of an old drawer without ruining those wooden slats. And without those pieces of wood, the slides aren't far enough to work with the table (they won't reach). So you need those moldings, and of course Ashley didn't send them because, as you know, the buyer should be able to disassemble and reassemble their glued-together furniture. At this point the seller apologized for Ashley being so rude about the whole thing and returned our money. Now we have a table with a broken drawer. The worst thing is that we have ordered a matching coffee table from our local furniture store Ashley and are waiting to collect it in a few days when it arrives. I have no hope that this table will be better constructed than this junk. The table we received. 5 stars for the seller minus 1 star for Ashley's poor customer service and quality control. NEVER AGAIN!
