I used to have this radio when it came out. But there are quite a few improvements since then. It now comes with a programming cable, hands free headset and it will show the name of the channel (or frequency) . The original one couldn’t do that. Also with the original one, the screen would darken due to the heat if you had a long QSO going. That problem is also gone. It’s a nice compact dual band analog handy talky radio .
