Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Andis UltraEdge Clipper Blade with Detachable Feature by Joshua Albright

Sorry I waited so long to get the 3-ยพ FC blade

Fear prevented me from getting the 3-ยพ FC blade. I have an Andis two-speed clipper, ProClip Super 2-Speed Clipper, Professional Animal Grooming, AGC2 (22360) that comes with a size 10 blade that I never use. Instead I bought a size 40 blade and two sets of combs, one large and one small. I think I underestimated how closely this blade would fit my Bichon Frize skin given the size 10 and size 40 angles. As an amateur groomer, my first concern has always been not to harm my dog in any way. I've always envied the plush look some people can give bichon wool, and I've never been able to achieve that look with combs or my inept scissors. I finally settled on this blade and to my surprise it is completely different from the one I used. The angle is very close to the ยฝ inch comb, so I was comfortable using it. Since this is a finishing blade and I didn't buy a missing tooth blade, I first trimmed my hair with my regular 40" blade and a ยฝ" comb. Then I went through this 3-3/4FC blade. Wow the difference really made me wish I had bought this blade many years ago. My bichon's hair is so even and plush, even on the sides where I usually have trouble blending the length. I am delighted with this particular blade and would recommend it to anyone who is hesitant to use a blade without a comb.

Pros
