Poor quality control

I was hoping for the best. I've ordered this brand of tweezers before and had no problems with them (until I accidentally dropped them on the tips). Half of them work fine while the others look like they've been filed too hard on one side. (see picture), which makes plucking the target hairs very difficult. If I can grab a hair, it snaps at the slightest angle because it's pointed.
