They did the job

I used these rivets to attach some .030" thick Lexan parts to the oval body of an RC car . They were identical to the rivets that came with the car and worked well with my Harbor Freight rivet gun.

Pros

Large ribbed rivets are preferred when adhering very brittle or soft materials to hard surfaces
