I bought this product in the last Thanksgiving sale and a few days later received a brand new product from this seller. This R6400V2 product uses exactly the same Broadcom processor (BCM4708C0, 2 cores, 1MHz) and WiFi chipset (BCM4360 and BCM4331) as R6700V3. R6400V2 and R6700V3 use the same firmware. Why pay more for the R6700V3? Another good thing about this product is Disney Circle's built-in parental controls, which makes it very easy to block YouTube and other social media services. With the Circle history log entry, you'll always know what your kids have visited and you can block websites with a single click from the history log. You can add all of your kids' computers, smartphones, and other devices to a group and turn their internet access on/off with one click in the Circle app, without disturbing other computers in your home. Such a great feature for parents! This WiFi router has three external antennas, supports dual WiFi bands (5GHz and 2.4GHz) but only with SU-MIMO and MIMO configured as 3X3:3 on both WiFi bands. For most families, MU-MIMO may not be as good as product manufacturers claim, especially for MU-MIMO products that only have three or four antennas.
