I've had my rustic wooden tray for a few days. This really is REAL wood, not a veneer. Very light but durable. I love the inlaid wooden slats in different colors because they match our decor. The wood appears to be slightly stained, but the texture is still visible. It wouldn't be difficult to paint a board or two to match your decor. It has no glossy finish or smooth feel. The size is reasonable but still fits on my coffee table and displays some of my favorite things. I still don't know how it will clean or what I will use. Furniture polish, dry rag? I just love seeing this on my coffee table!
