Definitely a top, and not a sweater. I expected it to be more "sweatery," but that's probably my fault. Rereading it does say loose knit jumper top. It is thinner than I expected, but I still am happy with it. I feel like it runs a little large. I am normally a medium, but think I could have gotten a small and still had a loose fit. Overall, I am pleased. I gave it 4 stars just because I feel it is a little thin. I really like it, but don't LOVE it! I do believe it is worth the money. I might even order another color.
