Perfect replacement for my Vivosmart HR which I have had for over 3 years. I just mentioned how long this went on and after a couple of weeks the band broke up. I bewitched myself haha. The day it broke (yesterday) my techie sister told me to get a new strap. I had no idea I could do it with this particular model. I ordered it and only received it 1 day later (today) with the usual mainstream shipping. I started unscrewing the screws from my device and the small side pieces were peeling off the old tape. If I hadn't read the previous reviews I would have been very confused. So that's what I expected. It's ok, don't worry. You can throw away these old parts. Fasten the new straps in place. The side with the buttonhole makes an audible click. Screw this side tight. The other side needs to be held down a bit as it doesn't snap into place like the button side. Screw it in place and voila, you're done. It is really that easy. Takes less than 2 minutes. Notes: The new screws were slightly longer than the original screws in my device. So this left a gap on the non-button side. I had to loosen the new screws and put in the old ones. But it was not possible to unscrew the new ones. The two hex screwdrivers that came with the new tape were very soft metal and didn't work after the first use. Luckily I had my trusty ifixit kit with a solid hex head that worked great. Put the old screws back in and the gap almost completely closes. I've used it a lot, if you take it apart it will be pretty rough. Ha ha. Clean it up with some water, a cotton swab and maybe a drop of alcohol to disinfect. It's not glue, it's dirt from sweat, lotion, perfume, etc. This tape is slightly longer and heavier than the original. The clasp is silver-tone metal rather than the matching rubber/plastic, making it feel chunkier than the old one. For me personally this is not a deal breaker and I would buy it again knowing this. All in all a wonderful quality replacement at a very reasonable price. Great offer.
