This is quite a fun and easy to use transmitter. It has some nice features and the display is pretty easy to read. I have tested its output and it is frequency stable, but the maximum power output (into 50 ohms) is only 200mW, not the advertised 300mW. I didn't find it very tolerant of audio input from an iPhone or laptop. Headphone output jack. The input gain is adjustable, but I've never been able to find distortion-free gain that produces a decent volume. I haven't tested the supplied antenna with a network analyzer yet, so I don't know if it resonates well or covers the entire bandwidth. but because it's so tiny, don't expect it to work well except at very close ranges. If you don't need to wear it on your body, you can connect a real (tuned) VHF antenna for long-distance use.
