I'm a professional in the film and television industry. 95% of crew members use a dual-channel "watch" headset with a neck strap clip attached to a small rubber tube with an earpiece that essentially occludes the ear. The hoses constantly clog and muffle the sound - it's not uncommon for crew members to use a can of compressed air to blow out the headphones. Their retail price is around $90 and they always fail within a year or two. After using this little guy I will never go back to a surveillance headset. Since it is a fully electronic device, there is no need to connect a tube. The earpiece sits comfortably over your ear, allowing you to hear through that ear despite having a speaker next to it. Managing a single wire design is much easier than threading a long cord through a shirt. And to top it off, it's a fraction of the price. If you work on set, this is what you need. Don't even look at anything else.
