Short cable on accessory

Headphone works well but is too short. I wear the radio on the right side of my body and the receiver in my left ear. The cord doesn't reach that far and I'm not unusually tall or anything.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great for accessories

Bought for work. Headphones were worn and I didn't like sharing them. They were perfect, much more comfortable than what the store was offering, the earcup stays in place and the cable is easier to adjust in length. Was very satisfied.

At first I bought generics and then stopped.

At first we bought generics and after they stopped working, they were replaced with generics. They didn't work either, so I bought this brand from Motorola. Although they were a bit more expensive, they work great and stay in my ear.

Excellent quality No: Headphones and microphones

Excellent headphones and good quality. I use it every day at the amusement park where I work. My only issue with this is that holding it to your ear can be a pain in the back. I'm a bit short and wear glasses so my glasses and ear clip are constantly at odds with my collar, it can bang against it and the ear clip falls off my ear.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Security

Good sound but very uncomfortable to wear!

Black plastic piece that fits too tight behind my ear and hurts the back of my ear, something terrible. I took another reviewer's advice and cut it in half to give it more and that helped a bit, but ended up wrapping it up and storing it as it's just not practical. If the back was a super soft rubber with more bounce it would probably be comfortable to wear.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Big and bulky

One of Motorola's most comfortable and functional headphones

I need Motorola wireless headphones for my work, but standard in-ear headphones are too uncomfortable and don't fit me well. This is a much better alternative that fits securely around the outside of the ear and is much more secure and comfortable. It's not perfect, but it does the job well and works a lot better than the earbuds for me. It's a little more expensive than the models below, but worth a few bucks more in my opinion.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

works best on CB and radio

I am a golf official. We use the radio all the time as we usually have several people covering a very large area. Since we don't want to disturb the player with the sound in the radio speaker, we use micro headphones. I have big ears so I had to cut off the bottom of the earcup. In other words, it sort of hangs on top of my ear and is open at the bottom. However, it works VERY well. I've had several in-ear headphones before, but I definitely prefer these. Partial microphone means I can keep the

If you are a crew member this is a MUST.

I'm a professional in the film and television industry. 95% of crew members use a dual-channel "watch" headset with a neck strap clip attached to a small rubber tube with an earpiece that essentially occludes the ear. The hoses constantly clog and muffle the sound - it's not uncommon for crew members to use a can of compressed air to blow out the headphones. Their retail price is around $90 and they always fail within a year or two. After using this little guy I will never go back to a…

Works well, limited life

We have around 2500-3000 hours of use. Motorola has slightly changed the design and in the new design (2015) the connector is shortened. So it will not securely connect to our DTR radios unless we cut off the rubber plug from the radio that covers the ports when the headset is not in use. Rotating the plug does not create enough clearance. Of course, this poses a problem if the radio has previously been used without a headset. The mic hole is at the top of the mic/button assembly so a drop of…
